 
Bozokbag Vineyards were established in 2003 as a family owned venture in Eceabat, with the goal of producing wines of great density and rich character with elegant and exquisite finish. The vineyards are nestled in the historical Peninsula of Gallipoli, between the North Aegean coast and the Marmara seas. Today, this area is becoming a center of developing vinyards like Bozokbag. The soil, sun, wind, people…The major components composing a whole... As the years went by from the beginning of vine planting, we yield high quality grapes with the help of this impressive terroir. Bozokbag has a wide variety of vins. Reds are Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah, Cabernet Franc, Grenache Noir, Petite Verdot, Pinot Noir. The whites are Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Rosanne and Marsanne. Bozokbag team, together with vine variety experts and agricultural engineers are working on reinventing historical local varieties to be planted in 2012. Times of harvests are determined by the ripeness of the grapes. Our winemakers decide when to pick the grapes based on the style of wine we will produce. The harvest is always at dawn break. The grapes are sent to winery rightaway, before they lose their characteristics. 44 hectares of total 71 is mature enough to be used for premium wines whereas the younger vines are on the way. Further, 20 hectares of a new land now is under treatment for Organic plantation. All certified vines were imported from Mercier Nursery, France and planted by plantation supervisors under the control of French consultants. No chemicals or fertilizers were used and to strengthen the roots naturally, no harvest were done for the first three years. First limited harvest was in 2005 and we gradually increased volume of grapes which were sold to Kavaklidere Wines till 2010. The vinyard is under the certification of 'Good Agriculture Practice - GAP'
